April 13th, 2009

The Move Team have always made the effort to go that extra mile for each customer and being well experienced in their location is no exception! Below are the four key areas of London we cover:

Man and Van North London

We are based in South London however we get many man and van jobs in North London. We cover the postcodes N1 to N22 and will travel to be there on the agreed time on the agreed date of the move.

Man and Van South London

If it’s a South London man and van company you need, then we are the right company for you! We have been based in South East London for many years now and know the area very well! We can provide even cheaper quotes as we have less distance to travel to get to and from your home or office.

Man and Van East London

East London again is very close to us making our man and van prices in this area very competitive. Again, we do not have far to drive to get to you and this makes it cheaper and quicker for you to move your possessions.

Man and Van West London

West London is not as close as the above locations, however we still keep an eye on more local man and van companies in this area to keep our prices competitive!

What Do We Use?

Our man and van services use fully equipped 3.5 tonne Luton vans which are bigger than the average van, but still easily accessible and maneuverable. We are also insured up to £20,000 so there is no need to worry about anything being broken in transport.

We will soon be adding many new pages showing even more detail about the specific areas our man and van services cover.

Why Hire a Man and Van Company For Office Moves

April 5th, 2009

Over the last few months we have seen a sharp increase in the amount of offices hiring man and van companies to help move around London and across the country. The obviously reason for this is the credit crunch and many businesses are trying to save money.

Planning an office move requires a lot of work and not all of this revolves around the man and van company. The move needs to have everyone sitting at a new desk with working computers and phones and no grumbles. This also needs to happen quickly and with very little fuss.

Luckily, The Move Team can help this happen! Within 2 clicks you can get a free man and van quote that we will be making from scratch by hand. This means we can take into account every last detail and still keep the quote competitive. Whether your moving 2 desks across London or 50 across the country, we can help and even provide insurance!

The White Van and Man Theory

April 2nd, 2009

When you think of a white van driver, the image might not be a pleasant one. For many years typical white van men have been given a bad name by the media and peoples own normally incorrect assumptions. Have you ever used a man and van service and been displeased with the attitude of the driver? Because according to a new study most of them, or us, are really nice people.

The social-issues research center in oxford conducted a study on both man and van drivers and other long haul drivers in lay-bys and petrol stations up and down the country, and there results debunk the myth that man and van drivers are angry or rude, they study claims that ‘most’ of them very really very nice people.

Though I am sure one study will not do much to change ingrained social stereotypes, I, working in the London man and van industry, in the removal sector, would love it to be as we pride ourselves on great friendly service and believe that most companies do to. Of course we cant deny that some white van drivers that can be quite unfriendly people but please do let small majority and stereotypes cloud your fine judgment.
